The human being, since the beginning of the time that humans started to think themselves hung the moon and stars, have been causing many natural disasters.
Climate change, many pandemics, erosion, water pollution, air pollution, and so on.
And the latest disaster is the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Today I will explain why we face this disaster.
Capitalism and many capitalist professors say that GDP per capita and life expectancy are directly proportional. Namely, an X% increase in GDP per capita causes a Y% increase in the Life expectancy.
Life expectancy and income are positively related. Health and wealth are two of the most important components of wellbeing and the graph (below) shows that they generally go together.
Yes, we live longer than our ancestors lived, but how?
We exploit the nature more than any other human being did. Our long-life expectancy comes from the exploitation of nature. We cut more trees to produce toilet papers, tissues, we poison the earth more to grow more and faster vegetables, we vaccines the cows and other animals to have more milk, we use more cyanide to have more gold, we drill oil more to travel more. In short, we live longer because we kill more animals, pollute the earth more.
Otherwise, not because of a better health care system.
Why do we have the coronavirus disaster now?
Because of the unskillful politicians.
In China, Mao Zedong and his fellow leaders were determined to show the superiority of communism and changed many rules without any plan. Those new rules brought chaos to the countryside, and many people died of famine.
When Mao heard that, he doubled down the policies that brought more deaths.
Namely, because of the stupidity of politicians, many people lost their lives.
The same things are happening now.
Politicians do not absorb the problem, they just funnel money into the system to solve the problem.
Sorry, but the virus does not care who has money.
Funnelling money into the system stands the stock market in good stead.
People need a free test and a government that have a good grasp of every problem.
For instance, Every government firstly said that coronavirus was a common flu, and then they said that it was impossible that coronavirus could be a pandemic. Now the same politicians are saying that within two weeks every country will get over the illness.
They care about the big companies and stock markets. Nobody cares about middle and low-class people.
I am saying, this is not a conflict between people and the virus. This is a fight between rich people and others.
Human beings should develop a new economic system that respects nature while increase life-span.
By the way, I'll give you a piece of investment advice. FED prints money like mad. This will cause a downfall of the American dollar as well as other currencies. That is why you should try to keep your money in the real estate or precious metal.
Money does not solve every problem anymore. Young people have a worse life than their parents had, which means that capitalism creates problems, not solutions.
